On the journey of learning my craft, I had to learn art; lighting, composition, triangles, leading lines, texture, and on and on.  These lessons were learned studying art and  artists, yet lessons are lost if they’re not practised. Practise began with taking pictures on vacation and then walking the Bruce Trail. I still practice, trying new techniques and refining old ones
The result is a collection of images, some created of favourite places and others of everyday spots where I was pushing my comfort zone and ability to see like an artist.
I am honoured to be able to offer those images for sale on my website.
The prints are available in a variety of print finishes. Images and details can be found here.
There are only a few images in the gallery right now, and I will be adding 1-5 new images every Saturday morning. Please visit the site often to see what is new.
My first love of art was founded in portraiture. A famous photographer friend says “behind every face is a story” and those stories are told in portraits. In the beginning I tried to find the story in the portrait. Now, I try and create the portrait that tells the story.
Portraiture is still my first love, and without the adventure of creating photo-art my talents in creating portraiture would not have grown as it has.
Please feel free to leave comment on any image and contact me directly if you have any questions about making a purchase.
