For years we have been force fed the benefits of accepting diversification. I now believe too much of a goood thing can also be destructive. 

Was diversification not supposed to be about welcoming those of a different culture or background. Understanding they had different beliefs and customs we were to embrase the opportunity to learn from them and encourage them to celebrate their culture and customs.

But, where did it say we had to give up our customs and beliefs to make newcomers welcome in our country. I thought it was bad enough when we had to stop saying Merry Christmas and substitue Happy Holidays. During a recent visit to the Cambridge Centre Mall I realized we have sunk to a new low when I saw the sign on the back of the Christmas Display where they tradionally offer photos with Santa Claus.
